Workiz

Field Service
EnterpriseVisit Site

Field service management for small trades with an AI suite — Genius Answering, Genius Scheduling, and Genius Marketing — sold as add-ons.

Overview

Workiz occupies the gap between Jobber and ServiceTitan: more capable than the former on phones and dispatch, far less of a project than the latter. It handles scheduling, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, and QuickBooks sync, then sells the AI as separate Genius modules. Genius Answering is the AI receptionist that takes calls, emails, and SMS around the clock; Genius Scheduling turns an inquiry into a booked slot; Genius Marketing runs remarketing and reputation. Buying the AI as add-ons is honest — you can start with the FSM and add the receptionist when the call volume justifies it — but it also means the sticker price is not the real price. Workiz does not publish rates on its own site; third-party reporting puts base plans in the low-to-mid hundreds per month for up to five users with Genius Answering adding roughly $200 a month, which is directionally useful but not a quote. Get the all-in number including the phone module before you compare it to anything.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • AI receptionist lives inside the same system as your dispatch board
  • Lighter implementation than ServiceTitan
  • Add AI modules incrementally rather than all at once
  • Strong fit for the smaller trades ServiceTitan ignores
  • Covers 50+ trade verticals

Cons

  • No published pricing anywhere on the vendor's site
  • Sticker price excludes the phone and AI modules that make it interesting
  • Per-user cost above five users adds up fast
  • Thinner reporting and job costing than ServiceTitan
  • AI answering quality depends entirely on how the intake script is configured

Pricing

Not published on Workiz's own site — Standard, Pro, and Ultimate plans all say "request pricing", and Genius Phone, Genius Answering, and Genius Marketing are add-ons quoted separately. Third-party reviews in 2026 report base plans in the $225-$325/month range for up to five users, with the phone module around $100/month and Genius Answering around $200/month; treat those as unverified until you have a written quote.
